Bernhard is German. He worked in the Spanish Embassy in Bonn and moved to Seville in September, 1981. He began work as a German professor in a private academy until 1983, when he opened his own language academy and thus founded the international school clic ih Seville.

Eva is German and is an accredited translator and interpreter. She speaks German, English and Spanish and has lived for a long time in the US, as well as Germany and Spain. Before she came to work at clic, she was a translator, had worked on radio and even as a gardener in the US. She has travelled a lot, but her favourite destinations are Greece, Italy, France, the US, Japan, Colombia, United Kingdom and the Netherlands. Her greatest passions are her children and friends and her hobbies include DIY, reading, nature and playing the piano. Her star sign is Leo and her favourite saying is: “Eat the elephant a bite at a time”.

Frederic is French and studied foreign languages. He speaks French, English and Spanish. He also has some knowledge of Portuguese and German and some basic Italian. He has worked as a French Professor, Director of Studies in a Media Business school and even in the 1992 Expo. A seasoned traveller, he has visited over 28 countries, including the US, Cyprus, New Zealand, Belgium, Brazil and Mexico. He loves films, photography and antiquities.

Oda comes from Recklinghausen, Germany and has a degree in geography and tourism. She previously worked in a travel agency. She speaks fluent German, Spanish and English. She loves music, surfing, cooking and films. She also loves to travel and has visited many countries, including England, Italy, France, Malta, Norway, Switzerland, Belgium, Holand, Portugal, Austria, Israel, the US and Denmark.

Yumiko is Japanese but has lived a long time in Seville and has worked in clic since September, 2001. She studied in the University of Kyoto and has a degree in English and pedagogy. She also studied Spanish for 8 months in clic. Yumiko loves jazz music, flamenco, cooking and making new friends. Her favourite countries include Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand. Her star sign is Aquarius.

Ana is from Seville and has a degree in English. Before coming to work at clic, she worked in the international department of a university and as a translator. She speaks English and French and has visited England, Germany, France, the Netherlands and Italy. She likes going out and spending time on the beach and loves Seville because of its excellent lifestyle.

Tania comes from Australia and has a degree in media arts. She has previously worked in transport logistics and as a graphic designer. She speaks English, Spanish and some Italian. She loves drawing comics, sculpturing, photography, animals and playing tennis. Her favourite saying is “trust in god, but tie up your camel.”

Macarena was born and raised in Seville. An art enthusiast, she studied history of art at the University of Seville.  She enjoys travelling, cooking and reading history books and mystery novels. Her favourite saying is “no guts, no glory.” She loves Seville because it has a special feel that gives her energy and is the city where her loved ones are.

Ana Maria is Spanish and has studied education and psychology. She has previously worked in Malta’s Spanish Embassy and in human resources at Peace College in the US. Her hobbies include painting with watercolours, reading, yoga and going out. She loves Spain because of its charn and her favourite sayings are “¡Haz el bién y no mires a quién!” and “Vive el día de hoy como si fuera el último día de tu vida!”

Laura comes from Elvisville in the US. She has a degree in history and Spanish philology, a masters in Hispanic literature and a PhD in progress. She has been a resident director in Havana, Cuba, and an English / Spanish instructor. She loves hiking and books on monkeys. She likes Seville because of the bridges and braziers. Her favourite saying is “if the shortest distance between A and B is a straight line, I will be late.”
