From a certain age onwards, some people tend to be discouraged by the difficulties of learning a new language or improving language skills because they think that their mental capacity has diminished and can not be taught anything new. Nothing can be further from the truth and this prejudice is due to the way people were taught years ago: techinques which were based on too much theory, little fun, little practice, strict examinations, etc. Current methods for mature language learners, in particular clic International House methodology, are based on practice and interaction mixed with theory and give a productive approach to the language. Senior students are coached in such a way that they will communicate both verbally and in writing within the first few hours of class.

Our objectives

One of the main objectives of this senior course is to eliminate the obsolete and fixed idea that languages are too difficult for mature people to learn and to transform the language learning experience into a positive and enriching challenge. Another main objective is to connect Spanish with a real Spanish environment, thanks to which the learners comprehend that learning a language is more than just brain training, it is also a fantastic tool for discovering other corners of the world which go beyond typical tourist tours.
