City of Cadiz

Cadiz

Cadiz, the capital of the province of the same name, is said to be the oldest city in Western Europe. Its history, culture, gastronomy and beaches make it a wonderful destination. Cadiz is a peninsula and there is only one bridge and one road that link it to the rest of the Spanish peninsula. The colours in Cadiz are unique and the sunsets are breathtaking.

Famous in the whole of Spain for its carnival, its Holy Week, its football team and the friendliness and humour of its inhabitants, Cadiz offers an endless range of things to do for all ages and in all seasons.
So what is there to see in Cadiz? The Cathedral and many other beautiful churches, the botanical garden and waterfall in the Parque Genoves, The Torre Tavira watchtower and its Camera Oscura and the 7 kilometres of beach will all make your stay a cultural and relaxing one!
